We generally think of ethics in terms of what we should and shouldn't do. But when you talk about things that people can and will choose to do (or not), the right question is not whether they should choose to or not, but whether the economics of it can or should be influenced, and if so, how.
And I totally agree that the FDA is not anywhere near being ready to face such complex questions. And after all, these are matters of policy, not regulation, and policy should be decided by policy-makers.... well, I'm not sure I really prefer that option.. on afterthought.. lets just educate FDA people on the subject instead.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09562341153779790523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8237846547805652402.post-59006391974974635482013-08-04T14:47:11.141-04:002013-08-04T14:47:11.141-04:00A wonderful post, Carl, as it is so simple in the ...A wonderful post, Carl, as it is so simple in the lessons it teaches us. Thank you for this. We are not all graduate students with a qualification in one or more of the subjects discussed.

You are very kind to the FDA. That's all I would like to say on this.Chris Pricehttp://www.ecigarette-politics.comnoreply@blogger.com
